Help us keep our childcare spaces bright, clean, and welcoming! 🌟 Each month, volunteers lend a hand by sanitizing toys so kids can play safely and by organizing classrooms and activity areas. From tidying up books to refreshing art supplies and materials, your efforts make a big difference in creating a fun and safe environment for children to enjoy every day. Join us in making our classrooms a place where kids can learn, play, and grow!

Volunteers are needed to assist YMCA volunteers or staff with delivering food boxes to local families and seniors in need. Volunteers will meet at the Y and travel with Y volunteers or staff to local neighborhoods to deliver food.

Promote Youth Development by providing and applying intentional coaching skills and techniques at each practice and every program. Assist with gymnastics classes while modeling and teaching program participants the qualities of the Y’s core character values of Caring, Respect, Responsibility, and Honesty. Develop positive relationships with gymnasts. Ability to communicate clearly and precisely with children, families, staff, and members. Assist in developing and appropriately adapting a weekly practice structure and program curriculum. Ensure that program standards are met and safety procedures are followed. Assist in the retention of existing members and engagement of new members by being knowledgeable of Gymnastics programming. Performs other duties as assigned.

Help keep our facility looking fresh and welcoming by tending to the outdoor planter boxes. Volunteers will refresh soil, plant flowers or greenery, and ensure the planters are neat and inviting for members and guests. This is a great way to add beauty and life to our community spaces while working outdoors. Gardening tools can be available or you can bring your own!

Love children? Help us make their time at the Y engaging and fun. Read stories, assist with arts and crafts, play games, and provide quality, enriching care for children ages 3 to 12 years old. A staff member will always be in Child Watch with you and you will have no diaper or restroom responsibilities. Behavior issues will only be addressed by staff. Please remember to not ask any personally identifying questions: address, phone number, ect.
